Here is one of the recipes for you to try. This taste of home recipe comes from Ukrainian cuisine. It the local language the dish is called Sirniki. These are easy to cook cheese cakes. You should use soft cheese or curd for them. It takes less than 30 minutes to make a big bowl of them.

Taste of home cheese cake recipe. Here are the ingredients for it. Take ½ pound of curd, 1 egg, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, just a bit of salt, 3-4 table spoons of all purpose flour and 1 tablespoon of melted butter.

You simply mix up all the ingredients. You can use your food processor to do that. It takes only 3 mins to mix with the food processor and about 10 mins to mix with a fork. Then you put some flour on a flat plate. Dip your fingers in flour, take 1 table spoon of the mix, roll it up in a ball. Flatten it between your palms and dip both sides of the little cake into the flour. Heat up the pan, pour some oil in it and put your cheese cakes on it to get fried on both sides. That’s it.

You can serve them either hot or cold with some cream or sour cream. You can also serve them with honey or jam. This taste of home recipe does take less than 30 minutes to cook and is delicious. You can pamper your family with this easy to cook treat for breakfast.
