Here is what I used to make it:

These are the old and rusty metal discs used to faster the bolts. You may use new ones. This way you would not have to clean them. I washed and sanded them a bit. Then I used nail glue to color a disc pendent from both sides. I also used nail gems to decorate the pendent and put it on a rope. The other disc is for the ring to go with that pendent. As nail polish dries up fast, it took me only about 5 min to finish this easy and fun craft idea of disc pendent. It’s for my girl of 5 years of age.It looks real cute, too.

Here is another easy and fun craft project: It’s my key pendent

These pendents are made the same way as the disc ones. The golden one is for me and the pink one is for my daughter as she loves pink. I used nail polish and nail gems to decorate the old keys.

Here is another easy and fun craft: making bracelets. It takes about 5-10 min to make one, if you know some basic crocheting.

I used a slice of plastic water bottle for the bracelet base. Just cut out a ring out of plastic bottle. If it is too big for your hand, make a slice out of it and make it tighter by tying it together with sticky tape.

Then just crochet it over with yarn with the simple crochet stitches. That’s it. Your handmade bracelets are ready. You may cut a wider slices of plastic to make wider handmade bracelets. That’s an easy and fun craft indeed.

Easy Christmas cookie recipe: Cristmas tree cookies

I just cut out a slice of plastic out of a water bottle, then I bended it in the form of a Christmas tree. It’s not the nicest form, but it worked well for me for this Christmas cookie recipe.

It’s a 15 min Christmas cookie recipe. Really easy to make. I wanted to make some special treats for my kids today and they get all excited about the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays. We have been making Christmas tree handmade toys this week.

So, I decided to shape these Christmas cookie recipe treats in the form of Christmas tree. Here is the recipe and the making:

Ingredients:

– Flour 9 ounces

– Baking soda 1 tea spoon

– Butter 7 ounces

– 1 egg

– a bit salt

– Sugar 9 ounces

Mix up all the ingredients. That’s it. Heat up the oven. Roll the dough on a sheet of baking paper. For this Christmas cookie recipe it has to be rolled thin. Then cut out your cookies, set them in the oven for about 10 min. Top them with melted chocolate. Done.

As you may see, this is a very easy Christmas cookie recipe. The problem was that I did not have the Christmas tree shape to form the cookies. So, I made one in few minutes out of a plastic water bottle.

We’ve called this toy a funny bunny. It’s a hare made out of cotton wool and decoupaged with a napkin. These handmade Christmas gift toys look funny and vintage. In Russia our grandmothers used to make such toys for Christmas tree decorations. These can make great handmade Christmas gifts for kids and even for adults.

Quick recycling craft pin cushion project.

I have had an old baby dress I did not want to throw away. I have made a plastic bottle vase out of the most part of the dress and had one little piece left.

So, I have used a small crocheting hook for this recycling craft project. I have cut out a heart, actually two hearts out of the baby dress. Then I crocheted them together sticking the hook right through the material. I stuffed it with some cotton wool.
